Vinyl LP pressing of this 1973 album. Dr. John played on records for world famous artists such as Aretha Franklin, Van Morrison, and the Rolling Stones. Creating his own brand of "voodoo" music fusing New Orleans R&B, rock and Mardi Graz Dr. John was renowned for wildly theatrical stage show inspired by medicine shows, Mardi Gras costumes and voodoo ceremonies. He went on to win six Grammy awards including Best Jazz Vocal Performance and Best Traditional Blues Album. In the Right Place was the biggest selling album of his career, containing his most popular Top 20 hit songs "Right Place Wrong Time" and "Such a Night" which appears in the music video of 3000 Miles to Graceland and the Band's 'The Last Waltz' concert.
